Program Overview
Starting in early July, this 10-week fellowship places graduate-level students on teams within Morgan Stanley that prioritize sustainability and impact investing. Fellows are matched with teams based on their skills, interests, and organizational needs and are required to attend in person at the New York City offices.
Fellow Responsibilities
Project responsibilities will vary based on team placement but may include:
- Conducting strategic business analyses and industry-specific research
- Developing sophisticated financial models
- Preparing and presenting clear, impactful presentations
- Monitoring market news and providing regular updates
- Researching and analyzing industry trends
- Collecting and interpreting sustainability data
- Supporting or leading projects that advance sustainable investing initiatives across the firm
Fellowship Compensation
The anticipated base pay for this role is $135,000 USD per year, with potential additional components such as discretionary bonuses and other Morgan Stanley-sponsored benefits depending on the position.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this fellowship, applicants must:
- Be currently enrolled in a master’s degree program or other graduate-level study
- Demonstrate a clear and strong interest in sustainability and sustainable finance
- Have the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly
- Be a self-starter and team player who enjoys working both independently and collaboratively
