Program Components and Professional Development
In addition to their research efforts, fellows in this program will engage in training focused on leadership, mentorship, and professional growth. Appointments may be renewed with approval from their division or the chief investigator (PI), adopting MIT’s norms on postdoctoral timeframes and mandates.
Benefits of the MIT School of Science Fellowship
This fellowship includes an annual stipend of $85,000, a $5,000 relocation allowance, a $15,000 research allowance, and employee benefits, including health insurance.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Hold a PhD in a scientific discipline by August 2025.
- Demonstrate outstanding scientific capability, a commitment to innovation, and skill in conducting interdisciplinary research.
